Windows provide a visual gateway to the beauty of the outdoors. Whether it’s your yard, a scenic downtown view, other buildings, or rolling hills, we often enjoy the view provided by windows. However, windows can allow distracting glare into homes and businesses. This can interfere with screen usage, such as watching TV or using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Glare-reducing window films help you view screens without distracting glare while still enabling you to see the scenery provided by windows.

Glare Reducing Film Installation Process
When installing your glare-reducing film, we use the following steps.
- We begin by covering your floor with a protective cover to guard against the soap and water mixture used in the installation process.
- We prepare the surface of the window where the glare-reducing film will be applied by cleaning it with a scrounge pad or scrapper, depending on which one is right for the glass.
- The glare-reducing film is removed from the box. We then cut it closely to how it will fit on the window. Next, the film’s liner is peeled away, and the adhesive is activated using the soap and water mixture.
- The glare-reducing film is applied to the glass. We make sure that all areas of the window are covered. After that, we’ll start squeegee-ing the soapy water out.
- When we remove 90% of the soapy water from the film, and it is securely in position, we’ll trim it for an accurate fit.
- The edges are dried, and the window gets wiped off.
- The film’s curing process may take as long as 30 days to become completely dry. Water blisters may occasionally appear, but they’ll go away on their own.
