The Installation Process

Step 1

First, we lay down a protective floor covering to protect against the soap and water mixture we use to apply the film.

Step 2

We, then, thoroughly clean the window with a scraper or scrounge pad, whichever is appropriate for the glass.

Step 3

We cut the film so it will have a close fit.

Step 4

Next, we peel the film’s liner and wet the adhesive with our soapy solution. This activates the adhesive.

Step 5

We apply the film to the glass, making sure to cover all of the areas, and begin the process of squeegeeing out the soapy water.

Step 6

Once 90% of the water is out and the film is secured, we cut to fit the glass.

Step 7

The final step is to dry the edges and wipe the window clean.

Step 8

There’s a curing process for the film. It can take up to 30 days to dry completely, so an occasional water blister may be seen, but it will dry out over time.
